On the occasion of Romuva's birthday, we invite you to wander through the labyrinths of illusions and celebrate what is real.
At the event, the Kaunas Dance Theater "Aura" will welcome the audience, our new neighbors "xampany" bar will be located in the decorated hall, and Gabrielė Vilkickytė will present an acoustic musical program on stage. The program will be crowned by the thought-provoking film that gave one of the most memorable roles to Jim Carrey - "The Truman Show". Of course, the guests of the event will also have a birthday cake, which will be served by our friends "Prezo" chain of bakeries.
The event program:
18:00 p.m. – trust of the audience with the dancers of Kaunas Dance Theater "Aura";
18:30 p.m. – Gabriele Vilkickytė's musical performance;
19:15 p.m. – birthday party in the cinema hall;
20:00 p.m. - a screening of the movie "The Truman Show".
About the movie. The Truman Show focuses on Truman Burbank, who unbeknownst to him lives on a carefully constructed television set, surrounded by a thousand cameras, and his daily routine is broadcast to the public like an entertainment show. Truman slowly becomes suspicious of his surroundings and embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about himself and the world around him. As the protagonist questions the limits of a controlled reality, the film explores themes of identity, authenticity and personal autonomy in the face of societal constraints.
