We follow Hasan and his son Isam through the narrow streets of the suburbs of Casablanca, inhospitable to tourists. The local mafia's assignment to kidnap a man takes them on a journey through a city shrouded in darkness, full of shadowy characters and sinister challenges. The relationship between father and son is tested by walking a knife-edge between life and death, justice and crime, the physical and the spiritual world.
